Impact of green-emitting CaSc2O4:Ce3+ phosphor on the illuminance and color uniformity of white-light-emitting diodes

<span>blue light stimulation, a novel green phosphor, </span><span lang="EN-GB">Ce<sup>3+</sup></span><span>-activated lang="EN-GB">CaSc<sub>2</sub>O<sub>4</sub></span><span>, was created, which emits illumination with maximum wavelength of 515 nm. Since the brightness performance CaSc2O4 is equivalent to that commercial phosphors such as lang="EN-GB">Y<sub>3</sub>Al<sub>5</sub>O<sub>12</sub>: Ce<sup>3+</sup></span><span>, it may be utilized substance for chroma transformation in white-light-emitting diodes (WLEDs) comprise one blue LED, well red phosphor. The Ce ion most likely at an eight-coordinated Ca position base crystal said posesses orthorhombic CaFe</span><sub><span lang="EN-GB">2</span></sub><span lang="EN-GB">O<sub>4</sub></span><span> configuration. effect burning temperature and dopant concentration on luminous strength examined, discovered optimal reached 1,600 °C 1 mol % replaced site, respectively.
